In industrial plants it has always been essential to be able to ensure a level of safety where potentially explosive atmospheres due to gas or dust can develop: refineries, biomass plants, industrial sawmills.
A correct ventilation is therefore necessary to protect people and systems. Our products, built in compliance with the EN14986 Regulation and Directive 2014/34/EU, can cover a wide range of applications.
Our ATEX fans are built and certified to operate in ATEX areas classified as ZONE 1 / 2 or ZONE 21 / 22 with minimum temperature class T4. They can operate in environments with gases classified in groups IIA, IIB or IIB+H2 or environments with dusts classified IIIA, IIIB or IIIC. We remind you that the IIB+H2 gas classification is equivalent to the IIC classification if the gas to be treated is hydrogen (H₂), as indicated by the CEI EN 60079-10-1 ANNEX H classification standard.
Our design carefully considers the different physical and behavioral properties of the substances present in the air to be treated because although the general directives are common, there are relevant differences in the specifications for areas at risk of gas or dust, with particular attention to hydrogen, which It has a wide flammability range and extremely low ignition energy.

In addition to the classification by type of potentially explosive air to be treated (Hydrogen, Gas or Dust), our range is categorised according to the construction characteristics of the products:
■ ATEX fans for gas or hydrogen or dust IMQ certified
■ ATEX fans for gas+hydrogen or dust certified by TUV Austria and certified according to the anti-ignition protection concept of the IECEx scheme
■ ATEX fans for gas and dust zones 1/22 for special applications, certified by TUV Nord depending on the models
